Belle of Beauty

BELLE gets her name from the Disney movie: "Beauty & The Beast." She is between 11-12" tall and weighs around 25 lbs, which is show quality for female Pembroke Welsh Corgis.

CHAMPION LINES: Belle is related to 11 AKC Champions in her 5 Generation Pedigree and 10 UKC Champions including a Grandpa. She passes 3 AKC Champions to the 5 Generation Pedigree of her puppies. When mated to Charming he adds 10 AKC Champions to the puppies' pedigree, while Adam adds 9 AKC Champions to the puppies' pedigree and several UKC Champions.

CORGI FAMILY: Belle is part of 3 generations of corgis that we own. Sleeping Beauty and Roper are the parents of Belle. Belle and Prince Charming are the parents of Alice.

GENETIC TESTING:

VWD CLEAR - This means no blood clotting issues, because both genes are good.
DM At Risk - This means there's a small chance of deterioration of the spinal cord over time, because both genes are bad. However, over 50% of corgis tested in the world are also DM At Risk. Nowhere near that amount of corgis actually develop DM, and instead less than 3% of corgis actually develop it. Therefore scientists are trying to find a more accurate DM test.

BREEDING: Belle can be bred to: Prince Adam and Prince Charming. Her corgi puppies can be Red, Redhead Tri, or Blackhead Tri depending on which male she is bred to.

vWD would never be an issue for any of her puppies, because all of her puppies would have at least 1 good gene.
DM when bred with Adam 50% of corgi puppies would have no risk, and 50% of corgi puppies would have under 3% risk.
DM when bred with Charming is believed to be under 3% risk for all corgi puppies, but may be the same as mentioned above since we haven't tested Charming.

PHOTOS: 2 Years old & 6 Months old. You can see how a Redhead Tri Puppy's color changes as they become an Adult. Notice how the head and legs became more red as she matured.
