Corgi Contract

This is our Dog Contract, which every customer will be given and must sign when they receive their Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

After you spay or neuter the Pembroke Welsh Corgi you don't have to worry about violating the contract.

Vets usually recommend that every dog be spayed or neutered by 6 months old, but only because some breeds and mix-breeds enter puberty at that age.

Recent scientific studies show that spaying/neutering too early will stunt the growth in dogs. By doing it too soon a dog has increased chances of developing a variety of health issues in the future like cancer, muscle problems, joint problems, and more.

The studies show reduced chances of future health problems when you wait closer to puberty for your breed of dog before spaying and neutering.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis usually enter puberty between 9-12 months old. Therefore we recommend you spay/neuter by 8 months old, if you have non-fixed dogs in contact with your dog. If there's no chance of your dog breeding, it's best health wise to spay/neuter after puberty.
