NOVEMBER 24th UPDATE: We realized the youngest litter has 75% chance of standard coats and 25% chance of long fluffy coats. Some people will prefer one over the other. 4 of the 8 pups were already picked. The pups are currently 4 weeks old, and the hair length difference might not be visible until 6-8 weeks old. Therefore, we did DNA tests tonight and by December 5th we'll know what each pup will be by DNA. Then the 4 people who picked from the litter can re-pick if they want. Any new person can go to the Waitlist page to reserve a Waitlist Spot to pick between the 2 extra boys and 2 extra girls, then pick after DNA results arrive.
NOTE: Another litter will be born around December 7th. It also has 75% chance of standard coats and 25% chance of fluffy coats. Those can also be reserved on the Waitlist page. Price is the same either way. Each will be DNA tested before picking happens. We don't charge extra for mismarks or long hair like other breeders do. We don't own any fluffies and we don't aim to have them. We are actually trying to breed out the IVDD Disease that 99.5% of Corgis in the world are At Risk for, and the few Corgis in the world we've found with good IVDD genes just happen to be standard coats who have 1 long hair fluff gene too. A similar thing happened in 2009 when DM testing was created, and most of the good genes were found in Blackhead Tris. The breed standard coats are better, because they are less maintenance.
